It is the advert everyone has been talking about this year and now eBay is auctioning off limited edition Alexsandr Meercat toys.

The talking teddies have been donated by Harrods to raise money for several charities including St Ormond Street Hospital.

The money raised will mainly be spent on children who are in hospital at Christmas.

The comparethemarket.com mascots were due to be sold at the luxury department store, but chairman Mohammed Al Fayed decided to donate them to worthy causes because demand was so high.

So the only way to get your hands on the limited edition toy is to put in a bid.
