People wanting to send a parcel to Europe can breathe a sigh of relief as large proportions of European airports have returned to normal operating procedures.

Finding a courier that can deliver across the continent will now be as easy as it normally is, following the week-long disruptions to air couriers.

The European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation, Eurocontrol, say that regular air traffic of between twenty eight and twenty nine thousand flights resumed over the weekend.

The parcel delivery industry saw giant, DHL, reinstate its 100 frequent inter-continental special delivery flights.

It's Leipzig Hub in Eastern Germany also saw regular night courier services being resumed.
