They were united in grief when their sons were killed in Afghanistan. And now they've joined forces to launch a charity to help families of servicemen and women killed in Afghanistan.
The seven mothers met at a repatriation ceremony at RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire this July after their sons died within two days of each other.
They each held a photograph of their son as they announced their charity, Afghan Heroes.
As well as helping families of those killed, they pledge to send parcels to serving troops on the front line – luxuries, like deodorant, games and books.
The charity's website is now live and can be found at afghanheroes.org.
