Yodel, previously known as the Home Delivery Network, aims to be as synonymous with parcel delivery as Google is with internet searches.Parcel delivery firm Yodel, previously known as the Home Delivery Network, wants to make its service so widely used that it becomes a phrase on a level with "to Google".Much like the search engine giant has become synonymous with any type of online search Yodel wants parcel delivery customers to say "Yodel it" when they need something sent to them, reported Marketing Week.The new brand identity has been created by Clearing and Savvy Marketing and the source noted its chief aim it to make parcel delivery customers aware of the personal service the firm can offer.Founder and chief executive of the marketing firm Catherine Shuttleworth said that main aim it to make "Yodel it" mean a way of delivering something.Back in January, the Home Delivery Network acquired the parcel delivery arm of DHL, giving it 17 per cent of the overall market share.
