Celine and Givenchy are inspiring trouser shapes this autumn.

High-waisted wide leg trousers in the style of French luxury fashion house Celine are hot this autumn, according to one expert.

And for anyone thinking of ordering a parcel delivery from eBay, it might also be worth checking out tapered leg bottoms inspired by Givenchy.

These are the style tips from Natalie Hartley, fashion editor at InStyle, who was outlining the key trouser shapes this season.

Bell bottoms and straight leg jeans are also making a comeback, she added.

Ms Hartley also gave a few ideas on what to wear and what not to wear for women with different shapes.

The Celine-inspired wide leg high-waist look is great for women with a bigger chest, she explained, as they accentuate the waist and look good on shorter girls.

"If you have a bigger bottom half then avoid a skinny leg. Straight leg trousers are also great for adding length," Ms Hartley concluded.

Leg-lengthening trousers are back on the agenda this autumn, according to Vogue.
