A public consultation showed that the majority of people in the community supported the move.
The relocation of Weybourne Post Office has been confirmed by Post Office bosses, with the outlet reopening in the village hall on Thursday (March 18th).
A public consultation showed that the majority of people in the community supported the idea, meaning parcel delivery services will resume by the end of the week, North Norfolk News reported.
According to a Post Office spokesman, the new outlet will offer better services in addition to greater access and convenience.
"Customers will benefit from the improved car parking facilities at the village hall, with a large car park available on site. The premises will have access via a ramp, with a wide door. Internally, there will be a low-level writing desk," he told the newspaper.
A new Post Office recently opened in the Sutton area of Hull, much to the delight of local people who had been left without parcel delivery services for four months, the Hull Daily Mail reported.
