Local residents are angry about forthcoming national postal strikes.
Residents in Waltham Forest are angry at the national postal strikes set to take place this week, saying they are both inconvenient and damaging to the economy.
Various local people have told the Waltham Forest Guardian of their dismay at the industrial action due to begin tomorrow, which will leave many people needing to seek the services of alternative parcel delivery firms, such as Parcel2Go.com.
One resident, Florence Gaba, 54, revealed that she was expecting some important documents to arrive but that the strike will almost certainly mean a delay.
Meanwhile, Pek Kumar, manager of the local Natures Choice store, told the newspaper that industrial action from postal workers is becoming increasingly common, highlighting the need for consumers and businesses to employ the services of reliable parcel delivery providers such as Parcel2Go.com.
It seems like its constantly happening. We used to have things like this maybe once a year but now its every few months
everyone just keeps blaming each other, he said.
In other news, business secretary Lord Peter Mandelson has warned that a national postal strike would be totally self-defeating.
