UPS streamlining services for eBay sellers

UPS eases WorldShipUPS is offering new services for eBay sellers using WorldShip.

Leading international parcel delivery firm UPS has announced it is streamlining services for sellers from eBay.

The firm claims all eBay sellers using the eBay Selling Manager application can now have a direct and free connection to UPS WorldShip.

Under the new partnership, order information is automatically added into WorldShip and allows parcel deliveries to be easily given UPS tracking numbers.

Jordan Colette, vice-president of customer technology marketing at UPS, said the new announcement will free up "precious time for sellers to grow their business".

He added: "Direct data transfer of eBay order information to and from WorldShip provides sellers an easy way to ship UPS without the hassle of re-keying information."

Recent research in the PayPal UK Online Retail Report found that men spent more money online than women during the first half of 2009.

Some 12.9 million males were found to have spent via online retail sites, compared to just over ten million women.
