Parcel delivery firm UPS has announced a new savings programme available for eBay PowerSellers in Canada.

The programme is designed to provide eBay sellers with a range of cost-effective solutions to improve the service they provide to their customers.

"In addition to great new savings, eBay sellers also have access to UPS's many shipping and visibility tools such as tracking, cost calculators and more," explained Wayne Bosch, vice-president of customer solutions for UPS Canada.

He added that the parcel delivery firm is constantly working to help small and medium-sized businesses expand to reach buyers worldwide.

One of the services offered by UPS is an "efficient" returns service from 99 countries, to allow eBay sellers to boost their overall customer service while managing costs.

In addition, sellers can benefit from reduced processing time and customs delays thanks it its paperless invoice process, the firm claims.

The news comes after UPS announced strong quarterly results, with operating profits up by 57 per cent in the second three months in 2010.
