A post office in Coventry has closed without prior notice, angering many residents in the local area.Royal Mail's decision to suddenly close a post office in Coventry without any prior warning has been criticised.Local residents have been angered by the decision to take the branch on Jubilee Crescent, Radford, out of action meaning they have to seek out post office alternatives for their parcel delivery needs.According to the Coventry Telegraph, customers only knew about the closure when they met with a sign on Monday (August 10th) morning.However, a Royal Mail spokeswoman has claimed the body is working hard to make alternative services available.She added: "We would like to apologise to customers for the inconvenience caused by the temporary break in service."Leicester Mercury recently revealed that a post office in Anstey has been closed after a row between the site's owner and the temporary postmaster.Article Added: 12/08/2009 15:23:39
