Ian Sim is unhappy at lost parcels and opened letters.A resident in the Norton Green area of Stoke-On-Trent has revealed his anger at the parcel delivery services provided by Royal Mail after various items he ordered did not arrive.Ian Sim wrote in a letter to the Sentinel claiming that he has not received two DVDs he purchased, while bank statements and other important letters have either not arrived or have been opened. He said that mail delivery in general is very "hit and miss" and that, when he has used the services of alternative parcel delivery firms, he has experienced no such problems."I never had lost or misplaced letters or parcels when using any other company I think both Royal Mail staff and Royal Mail are to blame. How can you go on strike when the service provided to the public is shocking?" Mr Sim added.Sandra Patterson, managing director at Boxby, recently wrote in Realbusiness.co.uk that commercial couriers can offer a more personal service than Royal Mail.Written by Mark MooreArticle Added: 20/11/2009 16:18:32
