Shopping for goods online is a much more convenient way for Brits to spend their cash, it is noted.Shopping online and making use of parcel delivery services could prove a much easier way for Brits to make purchases, an expert has said.According to Hannah Kimuyu, director of paid search at search engine marketing firm Greenlight, heading to their local high street is no longer the most convenient option for shoppers. She noted that it is "a lot easier" to check out different prices and compare products when shopping online - and figures from the latest IMRG Capgemini e-Retail Sales Index showed that Brits are certainly favouring shopping on the internet.According to the group, 15 per cent more was spent online last month when compared to March last year.Commenting, Ms Kimuyu said: "With fashion the likes of H&M and Zara and a lot of luxury brands, for example Burberry, Matthew Williamson and a few others made a point of stepping online to serve the customers' needs - accepting the fact that customers are using the internet a more."Posted by Rob Elliott.Article Added: 27/04/2010 09:31:28
