In times of economic hardship, many people may be searching for ways of getting extra cash - and it has been noted that selling items online can prove to be very profitable if carried out the right way.

According to an article on Rinf News 3, selling items online could even provide a real income and end up being someone's main source of financial support.

The article cites extracts from a tips book written by Charity Cason, in which she talks about making money on eBay by selling things purchased at garage sales or charity stores. The author claimed that if people follow her advice to the letter, they could end up making up to £2,000 a month by flogging goods on eBay.

Those attempting to use the site as a way to make cash should look into parcel delivery or courier services, as should a business grow it may be hard for them to keep on top of posting each parcel themselves.
