A gym session with Salman Khan is up for grabs on eBay.

Bollywood fans used to ordering a parcel delivery of movie memorabilia can find themselves face-to-face with one India's biggest film stars thanks to an eBay charity auction.

Salman Khan is offering a private gym training session on eBay to celebrate India's Joy of Giving Week.

The lucky bidder will get to have a one-on-one session with the star, who is no stranger to working out.

"I will spend quality time with the person that bids generously," he said.

"All the money is going to a good cause, and I will reciprocate by offering some valuable fitness techniques to the participant."

Mr Khan added that he is honoured to be supporting such a "noble cause" in The Research Society, which will be receiving all proceeds from the auction.

Recently, the makers of hit TV show Mad Men launched an auction of props from the programme's set to raise money for a lung cancer charity.
