A customer's mail is turned away because the Post Office would make no profit on it.Royal Mail has apologised to a customer after his local Post Office refused to deliver his mail.Eder Da Silva, from Exeter, had his request turned down because the Post Office said the delivery would not make them any money, thisisexeter.co.uk reports.Mr Da Silva was trying to send a computer game he had sold over the internet, but the manager at the Okehampton Road Post Office refused to accept the package.The rejection came a few days after he had been told by the Post Office that his pre-paid mail was not welcome there as the branch made no money out of it, meaning Mr Da Silva has little choice but to use the services of alternative parcel delivery providers.A resident in Stoke-On-Trent recently blasted Royal Mail in a letter to the Sentinel newspaper.Ian Sim said he has had to contend with lost parcels and important letters which have been opened before he has even received them.Written by Tom SandsArticle Added: 23/11/2009 16:45:19
