Northop Hall Village Post Office closure has had a profound effect on the community.Elderly residents in a Flintshire village have been left distressed by the closure of the local Post Office, which many relied on for their parcel delivery needs.The Leader reports that the Northop Hall Village Post Office was closed last month and has caused a great deal of inconvenience for local people, something which could be rectified by alternative parcel delivery services such as those offered by Parcel2Go.Councillor Tony Sharps told the newspaper that the Post Office closure has had a massive impact on residents."It is causing a lot of inconvenience because it was a great asset to the village we are hoping something can be salvaged soon because it is a very sorry situation," he stated.In other news, the Post Office on London Road in Great Notley, Essex, will close its doors for the final time tomorrow (October 13th), the Braintree and Witham Times recently reported.Written by Tom SandsArticle Added: 12/10/2009 16:24:15
