A bust of teen hearthrob Robert Pattinson has been sold on internet auction site eBay for more than £900.

A bust of the head of Twilight star Robert Pattinson has sold on internet auction site eBay for $1,399 (£914).

Pattinson is the star of teen vampire film franchise Twilight, in which he plays Edward Cullen. The films are known for their diehard fans - many of whom are teenage girls - and Pattinson has become a global superstar since their release.

He is allegedly dating his co-star in the movies, Kristen Stewart, but both have been tight-lipped about any potential relationship.

The silicon head has apparently been made by a worker from the Hollywood movie industry and the listing on eBay said it is "museum quality" and "one of a kind".

"The entire piece is foam-filled with a core up the neck so he can be easily mounted on a stand or put together as an historic museum quality statue," parcel delivery customers interested in the bust were told.
