Councillor Malcolm Lees is unhappy at the delays.The reopening of a Post Office in Bath has been delayed, much to the displeasure of local politicians.Plans to relaunch the Post Office in Weston High Street were pushed back again after interviews for applicants were postponed earlier this month, thisisbath.co.uk reported.Over the last seven months, members of the public have become increasingly disillusioned with the lack of progress in reopening the branch, something which may encourage them to use alternative parcel delivery firms.Councillor Malcolm Lees told the news provider he is working hard to resolve the situation."Residents in Weston desperately need their Post Office back open and are increasingly annoyed with the lack of information Post Office Ltd is giving to local people," he stated.People in the Glasgow village of Westburn have expressed their anger at the closure of the local Post Office, the Rutherglen Reformer reported.The branch closed last September and has caused a lot of inconvenience, particularly for elderly residents, the newspaper added.Posted by Mark MooreArticle Added: 26/01/2010 09:24:44
