A leading parcel delivery firm in the UK has been forced to apologise after an online system failure led to the release of consumer data.Courier firm Parcelforce Worldwide has apologised after it accidentally leaked personal information on some of its clients.According to the BBC, people who logged into the parcel delivery firm's website to track orders were given access to a range of data on clients, including postcodes and signatures.The incident, which could impact on the firms that customers use for their delivery needs, led the company to release a statement expressing its regret.A spokesperson for the company told the news provider: "We can confirm that the fault was rectified and the service restored on Thursday night.
