Parcel2Go.com has seen business volumes rise since the strikes started.Since the national postal strikes began, members of the public have been using the alternative parcel delivery services provided by Parcel2Go.com, which has seen a surge in business in recent weeks.The internet portal sent 32,000 parcels last week, compared to the usual average of 22,000 and the increase in volumes is likely to increase the longer the industrial action rumbles on.Chief executive Fil Adams-Mercer said that what alternative parcel delivery providers like Parcel2Go.com can provide for consumers and businesses is peace of mind that their parcels will get to their destination quickly and safely."Already our customer base is up by 7,000 people over the past week. Businesses and individuals are worried their post will get waylaid in the Royal Mail backlog," he stated.
