DHL reveals plans to open a new Asian hub near to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.Parcel delivery and courier firm DHL has revealed it is to open a new distribution centre in Vietnam as part of its growing operations in Asia.The distribution and inland clearance centre will be built around 20 kilometres from the capital Ho Chi Minh City in the Binh Duong Province and at first, the new development will also boast an "integrated packaging centre".Speaking about the new development, DHL supply chain Asia Pacific chief executive officer Paul Graham said: "Our investment in the new facility signals our commitment to Vietnam and confidence in its dynamic and growing economy."He said the move will also help provide a service to firms and businesses operating in the country that require "world class solutions".DHL is not the only parcel delivery firm to be making roads into the Asian market.
