Royal Mail spokesman said the company is doing all it can.The people of Sunderland should expect further delays to their parcel delivery services after adverse weather conditions in the region left many postal workers unable to complete their rounds. Two thirds of postmen were unable to reach large parts of the city yesterday because of heavy snowfall, which will have a knock-on effect for the next few days, the Sunderland Echo reports.A spokesman from Royal Mail told the newspaper that the company is doing all it can to restore parcel delivery services to normal."We aim to make collections from post boxes on main roads and from as many Post Offices and business customers as possible," the representative said.Much of the country has seen its parcel delivery services disrupted by the severe weather conditions, with Mark Cooke, area representative for the Communication Workers Union, telling the Peterborough Telegraph that residents in the Thorney area may not receive mail for a few days.Has the bad weather affected your parcel deliveries?
