Amazon reveals new iPad app aimed at making online shopping on the device easier.

Apple fans keen who have made use of online shopping and parcel delivery to get their hands on the firm's latest release, the iPad, can now make use of a special application designed especially for purchasing with the item.

Online shopping portal Amazon has announced it is to launch a new app aimed at helping iPad users browse for items online more easily. According to the firm, users will be able to search for products with the app, and then use it to keep track of parcels they have ordered.

Commenting on the launch, director of Amazon Mobile Sam Hall said that the app is set to be "fun and intuitive". He also said that it has been designed with feedback from Amazon customers in mind.

With the app, shoppers will also be able to make sure they use the parcel delivery services of the right people, as they can check a seller's reputation by viewing reviews.

Online auction site eBay offers a similar service, which could help online shoppers steer clear of untrustworthy sellers.
