The release of the sequel to female favourite the Sex and the City movie is causing excitement for fashionistas the world over - and those who want to emulate the stylish ensembles of the famous four could find online shopping helps them do so.

Sites like eBay can prove to be a treasure trove of vintage designer items which could help people look as stylish as Carrie and co.

The new movie is set away from the girl's home city of New York and focuses on a girly getaway to Morocco. As such, a key clothing trend in the film is ethnic and bohemian, said fashion director at Stylist magazine Lizanne Harris.

As well as this, the movie features many items of clothing from fashion house Halston, of which actress Sarah Jessica Parker is creative consultant.

In the Telegraph recently, Emma Sibbles wrote that the white Halston Heritage dress worn by Carrie in the film is one of its fashion highlights.
