A Manchester firm has revealed it is widening its online shopping offering.

Women who regularly use parcel delivery services and online shopping stores may have struggled with finding the right length of trousers to fit them properly.

However, Manchester firm JD Williams has now announced it is to offer a wider range of leg lengths on its site, noting that many women who may be a plus size, or a larger size but short, can struggle the most to find the perfect pair.

The firm said it "understands that women come in all shapes and sizes" and currently offers clothing in size 12 to 34. As well as this, it offers a wide range of different leg lengths and noted that there are common misconceptions over sizing among customers.

"Being petite does not actually relate to your clothing size, but your leg length and height, so if you are short but a size 12 or more you are still classed as petite," it said.

Online shoppers can now pick up trousers with inside legs of between 25 and 36 inches from the company's internet store.

Other stores ideal for plus sizes are Evans and Marisota, which both offer online shopping services.
