Ocado saw sales jump by 30 per cent to £40.8 million in the four weeks up to Boxing Day.Online retailer Ocado has reported record sales over the Christmas period, with the adverse weather conditions failing to stop parcel deliveries reaching customers.The company saw sales increase by 49 per cent in the week to December 26th to £8.9 million, while sales jumped by 30 per cent to £40.8 million in the four weeks up to Boxing Day.Tim Steiner, chief executive officer at the firm, paid tribute to staff for ensuring that parcel delivery disruptions were kept to a minimum."While we did cancel a small number of deliveries due to snow in the lead-up to Christmas, our staff worked tirelessly to contact customers and we were able to offer all of them a re-delivery before Christmas Day," he added.Royal Mail revealed recently that the adverse weather conditions which affected the country in the run-up to Christmas led to some postmen being unable to make parcel deliveries on time.Has the weather affected your parcel deliveries?
