Members of the public are pleased to have local parcel delivery services again.
A new Post Office has opened in the Sutton area of Hull, four months after another branch closed its doors.
The outlet, run by Paul and Jan Khaira, has been welcomed by local people, who had to travel further for parcel delivery services, the Hull Daily Mail reported.
Claire Jennings, a customer, told the newspaper that the opening of the branch has come as a big relief to all.
"It is such a relief to have a Post Office again. We have either had to go down to town or to Bransholme to find a Post Office," she said.
Ms Khaira stated that she is pleased with the public's reaction to the opening.
"Everyone who has come in has been wonderful," she added.
Residents in the Buckinghamshire village of Chesham recently expressed their delight at the reopening of the local Post Office, the Buckinghamshire Advertiser reported.
Customer Robin Rogers told the newspaper that elderly residents have struggled for months without a Post Office and that the reopening means they do not have to travel far for their parcel delivery needs.
