Wealden MP Charles Hendry claims that the move will be detrimental.

Residents in Crowborough are furious at plans to move the town's Post Office to a new location which will be hard to reach for many, it has been reported.

According to thisissussex.co.uk, members of the public are unhappy that the site will move from Fernbank Shopping Centre to Beacon House in Croft Road, which could lead members of the public to make use of alternative parcel delivery providers such as Parcel2Go.com to send their goods.

Wealden MP Charles Hendry said that the new location will be inconvenient for many locals.

"I am pleased a new location has been found at Beacon House, but this location will be significantly less convenient for people in the town," he told the news provider.

East Hampshire MP Michael Mates recently told the Petersfield Post it is unacceptable that members of the public should have to queue in the street to send letters and parcels.
