Mum's who blog have considerable influence.Mums who blog could become important marketing partners for parcel delivery firms by telling others about goods and services. This is the finding of a new study from eMarketer, which notes that there are 3.9 million mums with children under the age 18 who write internet blogs. They share information on all sorts of topics from parenting to travel and technology with the estimated 32 million other online mums. eMarketer reckons that over half (54 per cent) of these internet-savvy mums, or moms in the US, visit blogs every month and are more likely than other internet users in general to do so. "Marketers can maximise their efforts to reach moms who read and write blogs by aligning their blog marketing with their marketing on Facebook and Twitter," note the report authors. The news comes after a survey from Women on their Way found that females are increasingly likely to access social media while away from home. Posted by Sarah GowerArticle Added: 08/10/2010 16:31:32
