Mintlaw Post Office is no nearer to reopening.
Residents in the Aberdeenshire town of Mintlaw will have to use Post Office alternatives for their parcel delivery needs, as the reopening of the local branch has been delayed.
The outlet was supposed to open its doors last week, however, the occasion was postponed and a new date has still not been set, the Aberdeen Press and Journal reported.
Locals have had to use Post Office alternatives since the BP petrol station, where the branch is located, closed for renovation work.
Margaret Thain, from Mintlaw, told the newspaper that she is frustrated about the fact that there seems no end in sight.
"I understand things get delayed and things don't go to plan, but I am disappointed that there have been more setbacks," she said.
Many people in Sheffield will also have to use the services of alternative parcel delivery firms, as nobody has expressed an interest in running branches on Oakbrook Road in Nether Green and Park Grange Drive in Norfolk Park, the Sheffield Telegraph reported.
