Marks and Spencer reveals new mobile site

Marks and Spencer reveals new mobile shopping serviceHigh street favourite Marks and Spencer has unveiled a new mobile shopping site which could be useful for parcel delivery service uses.

Busy mums and dads finding it hard to get the time to go food shopping for the family could find a new service from high street favourite Marks and Spencer useful.

The firm has unveiled a mobile-optimised version of its main website, which will allow customers to order items without having to download any application or software - perfect for technology phobes who like their online shopping experience to be an easy one.

As well as groceries, parcel delivery customers using Marks and Spencer's new site can purchase clothing and household items from the store.

Director of Marks and Spencer Direct Dave Hughes said: "This is a major step forward in mobile retailing. Mobile optimised shopping sites have been done before by specialist retailers, but M&S entering the market with 21 million customers, one of the UK's most recognised brands and a well-known range of products, changes the mobile retail landscape."

In April, the firm also announced a new range of girls clothing for this year, designed by Zandra Rhodes, which promises to be filled with brightly coloured items with interesting prints.
