Postmistress Liz Golding has adopted a new approach.Residents in the Lincolnshire village of Waddingham can enjoy a cup of tea or buy a new hat after using the branch's parcel delivery services, as the owner has added a café and a hat shop to the premises.Liz Golding, postmistress at the outlet, told thisislincolnshire.co.uk that the diversification is an attempt to maintain the last village shop in the area.It means that as well as providing parcel delivery services to the local community, the branch will offer a place to rest and to shop."We had a flat above the shop so we have converted that into a little tea room and antiques shop owned by myself and a friend with a hat shop in what was the bedroom," she told the news provider.Local resident Angela Harry added that the idea has been well received by those in the community. The relocation of Weybourne Post Office in Norfolk was completed this week, with a Post Office spokesman telling North Norfolk News that the move will be beneficial to people in the area.
