An online wine shop allows customers to get the perfect bottle with a next-day parcel delivery.
The idea of ordering wine online may seem unfamiliar to some, but one retailer plans to change all that with ambitions to become the "Amazon of wine".
Slurp.co.uk allows people to order a parcel delivery online from a choice of more than 4,500 different varieties, having deliberately chosen those that people may have tried and liked in a restaurant, the Guardian reports.
"The key to e-commerce is remembering that people are so damned busy," Jeremy Howard, executive chairman of the website, told the newspaper.
"They start the day with a to-do list of 15-20 things and if they can tick wine off it more quickly than they can drive to the shop, great."
Slurp works together with other wholesalers to cut down on storage costs, although it does keep 850 wines in its Express range, which allows people to get next-day parcel delivery.
Meanwhile, members-only internet retailer Wine.com has launched a flash-sale shopping site for premium wines called WineShopper.
