Hampshire troops send parcels to serving troops in Afghanistan.Members of a military college in Hampshire have taken part in a ceremony to present new colours to its combined cadet force, it has been reported.Cadets and officers at Winchester College, who use parcel delivery to send packages out to soldiers serving in Afghanistan, took part in a march at the colour presentation, reported the Hampshire Chronicle. The source noted that there are currently 275 cadets at the college.The new colours were presented to cadets by the Earl of Wessex and the ceremony involved more than 100 cadets and officers. At the end of the ceremony, a World War II spitfire took part in a flypast. Sending parcels to troops or to others abroad has long been a fixture of conflict. World war veteran Frank Tulley, from Sale, recently spoke to the Manchester Evening News about his duties during the war.
