The British Chambers of Commerce has called on the government to intervene in the current postal strikes.A leading professional organisation has called for the government to get involved in resolving the current postal strikes. The British Chambers of Commerce has claimed that if ministers are "serious" about helping firms through the current economic climate, they should "get a grip" on the industrial action. People across the UK have been affected by the strikes, which in turn may have led them to seek post office alternatives.
