FedEx Mobile for iPhone lets customers track their parcel deliveries.

Consumers with iPhones can now download a FedEx application for the device which will let them track their parcel deliveries and provide other information.

FedEx Mobile for iPhone provides up-to-date shipment tracking details, with customers required to enter their tracking number after which they can track the status of their goods.

"[It ties] all of your shipment information together behind the scenes for you. Any FedEx Express shipment processed through your account, added to Advanced Tracking or checked with FedEx Desktop automatically shows on your iPhone," the company added.

There are various personalisation options available as well, with iPhone users able to nickname shipments, add notes and create a watch list for monitoring parcel deliveries of particular importance.

FedEx recently announced that it has shortened transit times for international parcel deliveries between the UK and Bulgaria in a bid to strengthen services in Eastern Europe.

Shipments between the UK will reach the capital Sofia within one day, the firm added.
