Changes to the eBay Community Hub will integrate social networking sites including Twitter and Facebook.

EBay users will soon be able to discuss purchases in real time on social networks before choosing a parcel delivery option or whether to buy or sell.

The ecommerce website is set to introduce a new Community Hub for the UK and Ireland sites from September 8th that will include integrated Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites.

There will be a range of other useful features, including a video section enabling clips about eBay trading to be uploaded by users.

However, threads and discussions that are older than six months will not feature on the site.

Users with feedback scores of below ten will also be limited to only ten posts per day. The eBay team has also recommended that users check the updated Boards and Groups policies before posting in September, in case they affect content.

EBay has introduced a range of technological updates this month, launching a beta version of an iPhone app that enables easier communications with employees.
