Budding eBay entrepreneurs given advice on how to make the most of the online auction site.

Those keen to use parcel delivery services and make money by buying and selling on internet auction site eBay have been offered some advice.

An article on Daily News noted that nowadays, many people make their living by selling on the site and they do so by knowing "the pulse of the market". Parcel delivery users should ensure they have good knowledge of what is in demand in order to make a good profit, the site said.

Making sure you sell your items for the right amount is also crucial, as asking for too much may put buyers off but too little could end up leaving you with little profit after parcel delivery fees and listing costs, sellers are told.

eBay launched in the UK back in 1999 and according to ACNielsen International Research published last year, more than 68,000 people earn their primary or secondary income from eBay.co.uk trading.
