Internet auction site eBay has revealed a team up with parcel delivery services in China.Online auction site eBay has teamed up with a parcel delivery and postal firm in China as part of plans to try and make inroads into the country's market.Under the agreement, eBay has joined with the US Postal Service and Chinese letters and parcel delivery company China Post. The aim of the team-up is to help deliver items bought on eBay in China to customers in the US.Buyers on eBay can purchase items from anywhere in the world but parcel delivery from overseas can sometimes be timely and more expensive than shipping within the same nation or continent.Speaking about the agreement, eBay's Greater China chief executive and head of Asia-Pacific cross-border trade Jeff Liao said: "USPS and China Post are leaders of global logistics and transportation industry. The partnership will definitely help eBay."Parcel delivery firm the Home Delivery Network recently changed its name, in other sector news.
