eBay UK has launched a new shopping basket function.

UK eBay buyers can now add all the items they want sent by parcel delivery into a single shopping basket after the auction site launched the new function on its eBay.co.uk site.

eBay says that its new shopping basket will let buyers compare items in one simple listing before committing to buy them, as well as letting shoppers see what their total bill is.

One of the main benefits of using the new platform is that even if sellers are from different countries and offer different parcel delivery options, buyers can pay for all the items in their basket in one transaction, providing they all accept the same payment method, such as PayPal.

eBay points out that if some sellers are based abroad, then some of the parcel deliveries may arrive before others.

The only thing to watch out for is that items under live bidding remain available to others even after being put in the basket.

ITBusiness.ca's Nestor Arellano recently advised sellers to make sure they pick a parcel delivery firm that sends goods promptly.
