Online auction site eBay may be the best way to plan a holiday this summer.

For people planning on a camping holiday this summer, ordering a parcel delivery of tents or sleeping bags from eBay is one the best ways of kitting yourself out for the trip.

At least, that's according to the Daily Telegraph in an article on 20 ways to bag a summer bargain.

Camping is clearly cheaper than staying in a hotel, but having to buy all the equipment brand new can seriously deplete your wallet.

"For those of you setting out on a camping trip this summer, eBay is often the best place to buy equipment," the paper states.

It also suggests investing in the Goofbay eBay Sniper, an application that help make sure that you bag your bargain and will have a package delivery on its way to your front door.

The paper also has a few tips on how to spend less on weddings, something that one Essex couple achieved by buying everything for their big day on eBay, the Essex Echo reports.
