eBay is bringing in some important changes to parcel delivery ratings.Parcel delivery and shipping options on eBay are to change as the firm is introducing reforms to its buying and selling settings that the company hopes will beef up buyer protection while also helping sellers. From November, buyers will not be able to leave a score of fewer than five stars for shipping time when one day's handling has been specified, tracking information is uploaded by the end of the next business day and delivery confirmation or tracking shows confirmed delivery four business days from when payment clears. On October 20th, changes are being brought in that mean eBay will not open a Buyer Protection case if tracking reveals that the item was delivered. In addition, buyers will have to wait until the latest date in the delivery range before opening such a case. When tracking information is not available, a Buyer Protection case cannot be opened until 24 hours after payment is received, according to the new rules.New parcel delivery options were recently removed from eBay's Canadian site following an unsuccessful trial.Posted by Matt Watts Article Added: 22/09/2010 16:55:53
