Internet auction site eBay has been praised for its good range of clothes suitable for pregnant women.

Online auction site eBay could be the perfect place for pregnant women struggling to find stylish clothes to cover their bump, it has been noted.

Writing for the Guardian, Viv Groskop claimed that while a few years back, looking fashion forward as a pregnant women was easy - with high street chains including Topshop offering maternity ranges - the recession has seen such lines cut and made life a lot more difficult for fashion-conscious mums-to-be.

"All I want is something to wear that doesn't make me look any larger than I already am. But where have all the decent clothes gone?," she asked.

However, mums-to-be could find that using eBay and taking advantage of doorstop delivery services helps them stay stylish and avoid the queues on the high street.

According to the article, the auction site is popular among the forums of baby site Mumsnet, as is online store ASOS and Next. Pregnant women can order from the Next catalogue and have parcels sent to their home, for a hassle-free shopping trip.
