A leading parcel delivery services firm has announced plans to attend a logistics industry event.

Courier services firm DHL has confirmed plans to attend a major upcoming logistics industry event.

The parcel delivery company has announced that it is to exhibit at Logistics Link North, which is set to take place in the middle of October at Doncaster Racecourse.

According to LogisticsManager.com, the business believes attending the event will give it a chance to improve its networking in both the Midlands and the north of England.

Erleen Anderson, sales and marketing director of DHL Supply Chain, said: "We believe that Logistics Link North will provide us with an ideal time and cost-efficient platform to greet clients and to talk to companies looking to review their logistics operations."

News of the firm's involvement at the event has come after DHL's Global Mail division confirmed it has reduced its transit times for international mail deliveries.
