Birmingham NEC has teamed up with DHL to offer a delivery service for trade events.

Parcel delivery expert DHL Express has launched a new agreement with the Birmingham NEC, under which DHL will offer its Servicepoint system from the location.

The system is already available at hundreds of high street retailers, but at the NEC it will allow visitors and exhibitors to arrange deliveries quickly and easily to anywhere in the country, or even for international parcel delivery services.

NEC managing director Kathryn James said the venue's location, which is right in the centre of the UK's transport network, makes it the ideal place for the arrangement.

She added: "We host 140 events that attract over 2.3 million visitors every year and this is yet another great example of how we provide unique services to our customers, offering a great mix of flexibility, convenience and affordability."

This month, the Birmingham NEC plays host to a number of events, including the BBC Summer Good Food Show and the National Graduate Recruitment Exhibition.
