Under the deal, the parcel delivery firm will be responsible for the carbon-neutral shipment of packages for those taking part in the event, which is set to begin on December 7th in Copenhagen. Each of the shipments will be branded with the firm's GoGreen logo, which represents its efforts to improve the efficiency of its operations. Scott Price, the chief executive officer of DHL Express, said the firm was "committed" to protecting the environment. He added: "Our GoGreen environmental programme encompasses many key initiatives such as moving to alternative vehicles wherever possible plus researching and implementing alternative solutions from transport to fuels on an ongoing basis."
