A leading parcel delivery firm has launched a new service that could benefit UK consumers.

Britons looking to organise parcel delivery services from the US could benefit from a new initiative established by DHL Global Mail.

The leading postal company has launched its new Track UK service, which is a residential service created to offer customers fast transit times and tracking options for cost-effective prices.

According to DHL, the new service has been created after customer requests and will offer transit times on average of between three and five days.

Paul Tessy, vice-president of product management, commercial and strategy, for DHL Global Mail, said Track UK would "provide another way to help our customers grow their businesses internationally".

He added it is "reasonably priced, yet offers faster transit times and better customer service than traditional mail providers".

DHL was originally established in San Francisco in 1969 but has grown to link over 220 countries through its international network links.
