DHL has launched new services from Europe to the US.Parcel delivery firm DHL has launched new Less than Container Load (LCL) Expedited services from Europe to the US. The new service, which use DHL Global Forwarding's in-house carrier Danmar Lines, will give businesses more options when delivering products to markets in the US, at a time when transport costs are particularly in focus. Advantages of the service include a cost lower than air freight combined with a shorter lead time than traditional ocean freight. "In the highly competitive business landscape, companies are faced with the challenge of responding faster to market and customer demands," commented Tara Caputo, director of LCL services for DHL North America. "Our direct LCL services offer cost-efficient solutions that meet customers' needs and support healthy trade to the US."
