A leading parcel delivery firm is celebrating after reducing its transit time for both standard and priority mail.Parcel delivery firm DHL has cut the amount of time it takes to get both standard and priority mail to its destination.A recent survey carried out by Ipsos revealed that transit times for such items fell by 2.4 days on average when compared to previous findings collected by the market research body five years ago.It also found that DHL Global Mail is faster than all of its global competitors on most links, while the firm meets its own service commitment very regularly.The study saw over 10,000 mail items sent through 73 links from European locations to destinations including the UK and Australia.News of the findings has come after DHL also revealed it is one of several leading courier firms that have committed to promote the use of electric vehicles in the London.Article Added: 16/06/2009 15:04:03
