A leading parcel delivery firm is expanding its operations in West London by moving to a new facility, it has been revealed.City Link is to expand its distribution operations close to Heathrow Airport by moving into a new facility. Industrial property provider ProLogis has confirmed that the parcel delivery firm, which is a subsidiary of Rentokil Initial, is to take up a lease for 75,000 square feet of space at a business park two miles from the airport. The new facility is set to become City Link's primary distribution centre in West London, which in turn could boost its parcel delivery services operations both domestically and overseas due to its location. Andrew Griffiths, managing director for ProLogis, said the firm had been looking at several facilities across the area. He added: "We are very pleased that they selected ProLogis, which we attribute to our first-class customer service and unique ability to quickly satisfy their specific warehousing requirements."
